08 07 - Changed some things, named the site the Arbiter Tribunal to go with my blog and screen name.

05 31 - Uploaded my Amateur Radio guide page. It can be viewed here. If you want to get your ham radio license, or just need info about ham radio, check it out!

05 15 - I see that a lot of people are searching on Google for 'Novus Ordo Seclorum encryption' or similar. Please note that the program on this site was programmed by me as a personal project, and is not intended, except in a sort of general way, to approximate the program described in Neal Stephenson's book Cryptonomicon. Thank you. P.S. If you get a 404-like message, try copying and pasting http://www.geocities.com/equilibrium42c/ordo.zip into the address area. Dai stihó!

04 21 - Back from Spring Break! 2 years of the web site as well. Also, check out my blog (or weblog), Warp Field Stabilized, for more frequent updates. Dai stihó!

03 30 - Almost Spring Break! A few misc. updates on the web site, which has now been running for about ~690 days (almost 2 years!)

03 23 - Upgraded my ham license to General class. Check here to see the call sign record. My birthday is tomorrow (woohoo!)

02 10 - I got my Ham Radio license recently, and I am writing a page about how to do this.

01 13 - I'm porting Novus Ordo Seclorum to C++, and using LINUX. I use the Mandrake distribution.

12 19 - Download Novus Ordo Seclorum, my encryption program, here. Sign my Guest Map, darn you!

11 13 - At last, some new stuff! I've added a GuestMap (please sign it!) and will be adding my encryption program as soon as I can get a working build of it.

09 03 - Finally got access to FrontPage (it was on my laptop all along)! Reviews are up (check the Links Bar) and the entry portal's been updated.

09 02 - I'm beginning the upgrade of my web page. I've written some reviews of different things, and will be posting it as soon as I can get access to a WYSIWYG editor to make the page for them. Thanks for visiting!

Some Things About Me:

These are the things I think are cool (in no particular order):

  1. Programming!

  2. Linux.

  3. Reading.

  4. Astronomy.

  5. Dungeons and Dragons. See my page on D&D. If you don't like D&D, check out the essays on this site.

  6. Camping.

  7. Hiking (aka Forced Marching).

  8. Backpacking (as above, but with a 40lb pack on your back).

  9. Fantasy (especially the Sword of Truth and Dragonlance books).

  10. Writing fantasy. Check my Stories and Essays page.

  11. Playing select computer games. See the list.

  12. Chess
  13. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  14. Amateur Radio. See <my new site>.

If you look for me online, my email is starmaven@gmail.com. My screen name is usually Equilibrium42.

List of 10 things that Annoy Me:

10. People who, I quote, say "It's cool to lose brain cells!" I swear.

9. People who curse every other word.

8. People who call going 5 miles from their house in their fully equipped RV "camping".

7.  Moronic web pages.

6. Teachers. (Some teachers are nice).

5. Incredibly, world-encompassingly stupid people.

4. Skateboarders. (You know who you are.)

3. People who break the school rules/law and brag about it.

2. My 12-year-old sister.

And finally:

1. People who use "AIM talk". Example " u r cool, b4 u werent " I mean, geez, it really is a pain to type those 2 extra letters of "you" and "are", is it? If you ("u") type this way it only shows that you are LAZY, and that you ENJOY SPELLING THINGS WRONG because you are MIND-BLOWINGLY STUPID! If you have a problem with this, [email me]. If you use AIM and you type this way, you are a LOSER!!! (Note: I am not talking about people who use emoticons ":) :( :-) 8)" etc. These were invented by the Internet community as a way of expressing emotion in an otherwise emotionless environment. I have uses for these, on occasion. They are fine. But GREAT ASVADAN (definition) those people are STUPID. Honestly, one of them asked me "r u an elf or somthing?" (typos intended) when I typed correctly. 2 words: TYPING TUTOR!!!!!!)

Here's another list that describes me:

List of Things that are Interesting about me:

  1. I have Asperger's Autistic Disorder. Also called the "geek syndrome," this syndrome makes antisocial and sometimes not a good person to be around. I don't think of this as a deficit, though.

  2. I can program in 5 different languages.

  3. I have 1 brother and 1 sister. (I know, that isn't very interesting.)

  4. I can speak 2 languages: English and German. I can also get the gist of something said in Latin, French, Spanish, etc.

  5. I have written a >60 page novel. It's not done yet. It's not likely to be anytime soon.

  6. I have lived in 6 different countries: America, Bahrain, Costa Rica, Estonia, Austria, and Germany.

  7. I have visited innumerable countries and most of the continental US.

  8. I have hiked in 7 different countries.

  9. I have hiked a branch of the Grand Canyon.

  10. I have made up my own language. Nai'tensethar quinoth'taran!
